Pelican BioThermal announces Korean Air Cargo partnership

Pelican BioThermal, the global name in temperature controlled packaging, announces its new partnership with Korean Air Cargo, the latest in the company’s expanding network of worldwide alliances.

Through the partnership, the Asia airline will offer Pelican BioThermal’s high-performing shipper solutions direct to the airline’s customers for the first time through the Crēdo™ on Demand rental program. The announced agreement gives the partner airline’s customers rapid access to Pelican BioThermal’s newly expanded range of temperature controlled packaging to cover both deep frozen and frozen applications, which include dry ice and phase change material (PCM) coolants, covering parcel and bulk sizes for single or multi-use/reusable, including rental through the Crēdo™ on Demand program.

The Korean Air Cargo collaboration is the latest key development in Pelican BioThermal’s global transportation of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical payloads and will assist with the pharmaceutical sector’s ongoing rapid response to the global pandemic.

“We are delighted to announce this significant partnership with Korean Air Cargo,” said Dominic Hyde, Vice President of Crēdo™ on Demand at Pelican BioThermal. “Together we will continue to provide safe shipper solutions to meet the rising requirements of the life science and pharmaceutical sector.”

With a global network spanning 121 cities in 43 countries, Korean Air Cargo specializes in pharma temperature controlled transportation with excellent infrastructure in all gateways, including 14 temperature controlled warehouses in Incheon, which acquired IATA CEIV Pharma certification.

The latest partnership is part of Pelican BioThermal’s ever-expanding global network of industry alliances and locations established to meet customers’ rising requirements worldwide.
