Schmitz Cargobull AG has signed an agreement to acquire a 48% share in GT Trailers, a leading Polish manufacturer of high-volume sets and trailers based in the Opole region. The partnership aims to combine the companies' expertise in designing and producing rigid chassis superstructures, including tarpaulin, box, and refrigerated solutions. The transaction is subject to approval by competition authorities.
Schmitz Cargobull and GT Trailers emphasize their shared background as family-owned companies with a strong focus on quality and long-term reliability. “Schmitz Cargobull and GT Trailers are both family businesses, with a reputation for reliability and longevity in the industry. Not surprisingly, because both companies offer galvanised chassis and bodies with anodised aluminum.
