Ralph Kleideiter has been named Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of Schmitz Cargobull AG, effective 1 April 2025. He joins the Management Board and will be responsible for the Sales division.
Kleideiter has led the Sales division on an interim basis since August 2024. According to CEO Andreas Schmitz, "He has been leading the division on an interim basis since August 2024 and knows the industry and the company inside and out. We feel confident that, with his extensive experience in management and sales, he will help to steer Schmitz Cargobull successfully into the future."
Kleideiter has worked at Schmitz Cargobull since December 2001, holding several leadership roles. He began in sales for Central and Eastern Europe, then managed the Greek subsidiary in Athens. In 2011, he became head of technical sales for tipper semi-trailers in Gotha, followed by a role as head of the Construction & Agriculture product line from 2016. Since April 2021, he has led the General Cargo product line in Altenberge. Kleideiter is 48 years old, married, and has two children.
At the same time, changes were made to the Supervisory Board. Yvonne Seggewiss succeeded Manuel Terhürne as an employee representative on the board, also effective 1 April.
Terhürne, a member of the Supervisory Board since September 2019, stepped down at his own request after taking over as head of production at the Vreden plant for refrigerated semi-trailers. Seggewiss, a member of the Works Council at the same plant, previously served on the Supervisory Board from April 2013 to September 2019.
