Güntner, a global leader in refrigeration and heat exchange technology, has launched the innovative Impact° label, designed to help customers identify the most sustainable and technically advanced products.
The Impact° label will be applied across Güntner’s portfolio to highlight technologies, fluids, refrigerants, accessories, services, and solutions that are environmentally friendly and resource-efficient. Initially, it will be featured on Güntner’s myGPC online product calculator to promote natural refrigerants and the company’s new efficiency-optimized defrosting technology.
Herbert Schupfer, Head of Future Solutions at Güntner, emphasized that the Impact° label allows customers to create highly energy-efficient and reliable systems with minimal environmental impact, noting that 95% of product emissions occur during operation.
The launch took place at the Güntner Impact° Summit 2024 in Budapest, showcasing the company’s sustainable innovations to over 250 European customers. Last year, Güntner committed to six sustainability pledges to be achieved by 2030, including reductions in carbon, energy, and water intensity, the use of eco-friendly substances, the launch of a circular coil, and a transition to sustainable packaging.
Michael Freiherr, Managing Director & CTO Europe at Güntner, highlighted the company’s dedication to cutting-edge technology and sustainability. By labeling the most sustainable components on myGPC, Güntner seeks to increase customer awareness and facilitate environmentally conscious choices.
