LG Electronics has highlighted HVAC retrofitting as a way to improve energy efficiency in existing buildings across the GCC, where high cooling demand can contribute to building energy consumption. The company said upgrades to aging or inefficient systems can improve performance, reliability and operational efficiency while extending equipment lifecycle.
According to LG, smart controls, inverter technology and more efficient system management can help cooling systems operate in line with actual building requirements. The company said reducing building energy consumption through HVAC upgrades can also support sustainability and decarbonization goals across the GCC.
LG identified its MULTI V 5 VRF system as an option for commercial applications requiring flexibility and optimized cooling performance. The system uses intelligent controls and is designed to provide flexibility across different spaces and usage requirements.
For larger commercial applications, LG Inverter Chillers use inverter technology to optimize cooling output according to actual building demand. LG said this can support more efficient system operation and help businesses manage energy use.
