AEFYT launches its first course on Automation of Refrigeration Installations with A2L Refrigerants

AEFYT, Association of Refrigeration Companies and their Technologies, launches its first course on Automation of Refrigeration Installations with A2L Refrigerants. The 32-hour course begins on September 14 and will be developed with a double digital methodology, which includes an online module with a tutor and a live module with a teacher and a dynamic tutor.

The objective of this new course is to study the principles of control and regulation of refrigeration and air conditioning refrigeration installations with the particularities that they present in A2L refrigerants. The program analyzes the function of the control automatisms currently existing in refrigeration technology, which have become fundamental in terms of energy efficiency and safety. In this sense, the course pays special attention to the interaction between the possible controls adopted and the way to define the degree and form of automation that is most convenient to adopt in order to optimize the design, management and safety of the different types of refrigeration facilities most commonly used. .

“A2L refrigerants are still new in the portfolio of options that refrigeration system installers and designers have at their disposal, therefore, with this course, we hope to give a broad vision of the controls that these types of installations need. Focusing on the automation of controls is also very interesting given the intense technological evolution that the cold sector is experiencing ”, said Manuel Lamúa, manager of AEFYT and director of the course.

The training is aimed at design engineers of refrigeration facilities, installers and those responsible for maintenance and safety of the multiple industries that use this technology. The course will be taught by Félix Sanz, industrial engineer, professor of FP technology, technical director of refrigeration and air conditioning and Assistant to the AEFYT Management.
