BITZER opens fifth site in India

BITZER opens a new Sales Office in Lucknow, India. From here, BITZER India starts an even better support for regional customers with special attention to the industrial refrigeration segment with the company’s Ammonia Compressor Packs.

BITZER is further expanding in India, as the country has proven its growth opportunities multiple times. Close proximity to its customers is a matter of crucial importance to BITZER, which is why the company now settles also in another part of India to meet the high demand for reliable cooling all over the country.

BITZER is globally known for manufacturing the most energy-efficient products in its class and this makes it possible for its Indian customers to consume the least possible energy, contributing to the country’s drive to reduce its energy and carbon footprint. BITZER has been expanding its operations in India since 1999 already. The company has also started fully owned Green Point service centers in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata. Green Point offers professional compressor repair, maintenance and overhauling of its compressors, Original BITZER Spare Parts and oils as well as an extensive range of services.



Harvinder Bhatia, Managing Director BITZER India, looks forward to the new office: ‘Customer satisfaction and service play a key role at BITZER. Also we put a focus on our Ammonia Compressor Packs as we see the need here in the region.’ BITZER Ammonia Compressor Packs contain compressors, motors, an oil separator and an optional oil cooling circuit as well as an optional pack of controllers and frequency inverters. They are designed to exceed the high efficiency and reliability standards of industrial refrigeration.
