BSRIA delighted to announce UKAS accreditation for fan coil unit testing

BSRIA is delighted to announce it has extended its scope of UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accreditation to include fan coil unit testing in accordance with BS EN 1397:2015. BSRIA provides thermal performance in heating and cooling mode, as well as airflow performance testing for all types of fan coil units. Testing is carried out in BSRIA’s dedicated environmental chamber, where clients can witness the testing and observe live test data. It can be carried out at standard conditions, site specific conditions or other bespoke requirements in addition to product development.

Tom Garrigan, Business Manager, BSRIA Test House, said “Further extending the scope of our UKAS accreditation for fan coil units compliments BSRIA’s current portfolio of accredited testing activities, while also meeting the increasing demand for testing these products in accordance with a recognised European standard. The accreditation provides our clients with the reassurance they are getting internationally recognised quality test data.
