CAREL expands in the Orient and acquires 100% of CAREL Japan

In line with the organic growth policies that have been guiding CAREL’s commercial strategies for many years now, the Group has now acquired 100% of CAREL Japan, a distribution company operating since 2013 on the Japanese HVAC/R market that closed 2017 with sales of 59,213,582 Yen (around 455,000 euros). CAREL previously held a 49% stake in the company. Headed by Tadao Sekiguchi, the subsidiary is currently based in Fukuoka, however will soon move to Tokyo.



 “I am very pleased to have been offered this position and I am ready to do my best to promote further development of our business in Japan”, commented Tadao Sekiguchi.

The new subsidiary is part of the Asia Pacific region, where CAREL already has a production site, in China (Suzhou), and distribution subsidiaries in South Korea, India, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
