Carrier Names Viridus Energy as Exclusive Distributor in Ireland

Carrier Solutions UK has announced a strategic shift in its business approach for the Republic of Ireland. Starting September 1, 2024, Carrier will exclusively distribute its Toshiba HVAC, Carrier VRF, and Vokèra heating products through Viridus Energy. This move deepens a partnership initially formed in 2023.

Carrier Solutions UK Ltd, a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), aims to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction through this model.

Following the March 2024 announcement of Viridus Energy as the new distributor for Toshiba HVAC products in Ireland, the expanded agreement now includes additional product lines. This decision will see the Vokèra business in Callan, Co Kilkenny, transition to Viridus Energy. The Callan base will remain operational, and existing staff will join the Viridus Energy team, ensuring continuity.

David Dunn, Managing Director for the UK and Ireland at Carrier RLC, noted, "This move marks a significant milestone in our strategic efforts to streamline operations and leverage local expertise through Viridus Energy. Our partnership has proven highly effective, and this new model will enhance our ability to serve our customers with even greater efficiency and innovation."

Tom Lyons, Managing Director of Viridus Energy, added, "We are thrilled to deepen our collaboration with Carrier. This evolution in our relationship allows us to fully leverage the strengths of both companies to deliver superior VRF, Heat Pump, and Gas Boiler solutions across Ireland. We are committed to a seamless transition for both customers and employees."
