Syclef Iberia expands in Spain with acquisition of COFRISA

Syclef Iberia has announced the integration of COFRISA, a Spanish company based in Palma de Mallorca specializing in commercial and industrial refrigeration, as well as HVAC systems. With this operation, Syclef Iberia now includes eight operating companies, 34 locations, and nearly 850 employees across the Iberian Peninsula.

Founded in 1970, COFRISA has focused on technical excellence, service quality, and team training. The company is recognized for its capabilities in the installation and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, with particular expertise in CO₂ refrigeration solutions. It currently employs around fifteen people and is led by General Manager David Llecha.

The integration aims to preserve COFRISA’s organizational structure while leveraging the support services of the Syclef network, including training, technical resources, and best-practice sharing. This move will help COFRISA strengthen its market presence in the Balearic Islands, with an emphasis on sustainability and energy performance.

“Joining Syclef Iberia is a key milestone in the development of COFRISA. This integration allows us to preserve our identity and local roots while benefiting from the strength of an international network recognized for its technical expertise and values,” said David Llecha, General Manager of COFRISA.

Antonio Gutiérrez, General Manager of Syclef Iberia, commented: “The integration of COFRISA marks a major step for Syclef in Spain. This operation strengthens our technical expertise and expands our presence in the Balearic Islands.”
