Carrier Ventures has made a strategic investment in Heat Geek, a UK-based startup focused on accelerating residential heat pump adoption across Europe. Carrier said the deal supports its strategy to expand electrified heating solutions in Europe and help more households adopt high-efficiency heat pumps.
Heat Geek operates a digital sales platform that connects homeowners with Heat Geek-certified local installers. The company said those installers use AI-powered tools to design and install heat pump systems for each home. The platform covers system design and quoting, as well as financing, grants and installation.
Carrier said the investment also supports the growth of Heat Geek’s certified training program, which helps build a network of installers across the UK and Europe. The company said easier access to skilled installers is important as more homes in Europe move from gas boilers to electric heat pumps.
“Accelerating the shift to heat pump technology requires both innovation and a strong professional ecosystem,” said Thomas Heim, President, Climate Solutions Europe, Carrier. “Heat Geek is building an innovative platform that supports skilled installers and raises the standard for system design and installation.”
