Caverion Denmark and Assemblin Sweden have signed an agreement to deliver technical installations for the expansion of a data center in Denmark. The estimated value of the assignment is 160 MSEK/111 MDKK [roughly USD 15–16 million].
The project is a TS-MEP assignment covering mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations. Caverion Denmark will deliver technical electrical installations within medium and low voltage, as well as fire systems.
Assemblin Sweden will deliver cooling, ventilation, security, automation, heating and sanitation. The expansion will be carried out while the data center remains in full operation, increasing project complexity.
"The data center will be in full operation during the entire project period, which increases complexity and places high demands on planning, coordination, and execution. At the same time, data centers place some of the highest demands on operational reliability, redundancy, and energy efficiency. This emphasises our strong competencies within technical solutions in critical technical infrastructure, where there is no room for compromise," says Carsten Sørensen, CEO Denmark, EVP.
"The project is a strong example of how we bring together our multi-technical capabilities across the group to deliver reliable and energy-efficient solutions. We look forward to contributing our expertise within cooling, ventilation, security, automation, heating and sanitation," says Fredrik Allthin, CEO Sweden, EVP.
