Climaveneta Climate Technologies (CTT), a company under Mitsubishi Electric Group, is investing Rs 400 crore to establish a manufacturing facility near Bengaluru. This initiative aims to boost CTT’s presence in the Indian chiller market. Although the current production primarily caters to the Indian market, CTT plans to double its production capacity by 2030 and enhance exports to nearby regions.
The company has an order book exceeding Rs 500 crore and aims to double its annual order intake in the next five years. Currently, CTT produces around 1,200 chiller systems annually, with plans to increase this capacity to 2,400 systems, depending on market demand. The workforce, currently at 300 employees, is expected to grow to 600 by 2030.
The Bengaluru plant will manufacture a variety of central air-conditioning equipment, including screw chillers, chillers with magnetic levitation technology, scroll chillers, conventional centrifugal chillers, high-precision AC units, and heat pumps for HVAC applications. CTT serves diverse customers in India, such as global data center companies, multinational hotels, healthcare establishments, malls, multiplexes, commercial real estate developers, corporate groups, and industrial sectors.
