CoolSys Acquires Arjae HVAC and Mechanical Services in Oregon

CoolSys, a parent of market-leading refrigeration and HVAC companies nationwide, announced it acquired Arjae HVAC and Mechanical Services, which provides commercial and industrial HVAC installation and services, as well as sheet metal fabrication throughout the Pacific Northwest. This acquisition strengthens CoolSys’ market-leading presence in the region, while greatly expanding its HVAC capabilities.

“The acquisition of Arjae is an exciting step in our strategic growth plan,” said CoolSys CEO Adam Coffey. “While we have been a market leader in commercial refrigeration-related services in the Pacific Northwest for many years, the addition of Arjae to our portfolio provides greater market density and also expands our HVAC capabilities, including sheet metal fabrication, in this important market. This will allow us to offer an even broader solution set to new and existing customers.

Established in 1986, Arjae specializes in HVAC installation, service & maintenance, and the full-service fabrication of aluminum, galvanized steel, stainless steel, carbon steel and copper for a broad range of commercial and industrial projects. It operates a 25,000-square-foot custom manufacturing plant equipped with the industry’s latest technology. Its team of dedicated project managers, journeymen and technicians work with clients across numerous industries, including retail, warehouse and manufacturing facilities, office buildings, schools and libraries.

“The Arjae team is very excited about becoming part of the CoolSys family,” comments Ken Klunder, president of Arjae. “At Arjae we believe that the foundation of our company is our employees, and we have worked hard to create an environment where we can nurture the strengths of each person as we learn and grow together. Additionally, like CoolSys, we have always been committed to creating an exceptional experience for our customers. With CoolSys’ resources behind us, we look forward to expanding our business in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
