COOP EXTRA opening a few renewed stores recently with
FREOR’s refrigeration equipment operating in a remote refrigeration system with CO₂ refrigerant.
Even though it is a challenging time to develop businesses in the presence of a health crisis, companies are determined to find ways to tackle it and move forward. COOP EXTRA retail chain in Norway has literally taken the extra steps by opening a few renewed stores recently. All necessary measures were taken to ensure a safe installation process and a healthy environment for the staff. We are happy with another successful collaboration for FREOR’s sales and maintenance partner in Norway, NordDisk, that participated at the realization of the refrigeration in the refurbished stores in Norway.
Supporting green thinking
Two COOP EXTRA stores have recently opened their doors in Oslo city and Nes I Adal village in the Buskerud region in Norway. Both stores were equipped with FREOR’s refrigeration equipment operating in a remote refrigeration system with CO₂ refrigerant. This solution is gaining popularity in stores and supermarkets of a larger sales area as an effective, cost-efficient alternative to HFCs, compliant with ongoing EU F-gas regulations of commercial refrigeration.
At FREOR, we value green thinking. Therefore, we are working hard to bring environmentally friendly solutions in the food refrigeration sector. We are glad that such retailers as COOP also share thinking green philosophy, preferably choosing FREOR Green Wave refrigeration equipment, focused on sustainability, high energy-efficiency, and employment of low GWP and ODS refrigerants.
