Copeland Appoints Paul Lundstrom as Chief Financial Officer
Copeland, a global leader in sustainable climate solutions and the HVAC, Refrigeration (HVACR), and industrial compression industry, has announced that Paul Lundstrom will join the company in August as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Copeland operates as a standalone company and is a portfolio company of Blackstone’s Capital Partners Fund XIII.

Paul Lundstrom brings extensive experience in finance, business transformation, manufacturing, and investor relations to Copeland. His background includes key roles such as Chief Financial Officer at Flex, Ltd (NASDAQ: FLEX), where he contributed to the analysis, carve out, and IPO for Nextracker (NASDAQ: NXT) in 2023 and served on the Nextracker Board of Directors. Prior to Flex, Lundstrom was the Chief Financial Officer for Aerojet Rocketdyne and held various senior financial leadership positions during his nineteen years at United Technologies, including roles within the Carrier air-conditioning business unit.

Copeland’s Chief Executive Officer, Ross B. Shuster, praised Lundstrom's addition to the team, highlighting his experience, energy, and cultural fit as key factors that will enable him to have an immediate impact on both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.

Paul Lundstrom expressed his excitement about joining Copeland and contributing to the company's efforts in addressing global climate challenges through energy transition, adoption of low global warming refrigerants, and safeguarding perishable goods via an efficient cold chain.

Copeland is positioned to leverage Lundstrom’s expertise as it establishes itself as a leading independent entity in the HVACR and industrial compression sectors, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and innovation.
