Daikin Applied strengthens customer service and support in the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Canadian Maritimes

Daikin Applied recently announced changes to how it will deliver its industry-leading technology and services, and bolster customer support in parts of the U.S. Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, and the Maritimes region in Canada.

To start, Air Conditioning Equipment Sales (ACES) is now an applied equipment and parts representative in the Chesapeake and Roanoke regions of Virginia.

While new to representing Daikin Applied in these regions, ACES is an industry mainstay. It has served customers in Virginia for almost 50 years, providing heating and cooling technologies, and support from the region’s top technical talent.

Companies in the eastern and western part of the state will now benefit from that experience and expertise combined Daikin innovation. And they’ll have a trusted advisor to help guide them throughout the entire lifecycle of their commercial HVAC systems.

Also, in September 2020, ACES formed a strategic alliance with Havtech, Daikin Applied’s authorized representative serving the Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C. metro areas, including Northern Virginia. This relationship allows ACES to deliver a wider array of innovative solutions and exceptional customer care throughout the entire state of Virginia.

In addition, the Daikin-owned Direct Sales Office is now the single source for all commercial and industrial HVAC needs in Southern Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. Daikin has set the standard for factory and field service in the region over the last decade, helping customers keep their facilities and operations performing at peak conditions. As of the beginning of April, it is also providing heating and cooling equipment, controls, and parts.

And in the Canadian Maritimes, Emco Corp. will represent Daikin for equipment and parts, serving the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

Emco is one of Canada’s largest distributors of products for the construction industry and has sold Daikin’s residential offerings for years. To augment this experience, and provide additional support for consulting engineers and contractors, it has brought in technical talent from across the globe to design and deliver applied equipment, as well as VRV technology.

“Our goal is to help our customers thrive,” said Jeff Drees, Executive Vice President at Daikin Applied. “We’re constantly evaluating how to meet that mark. Teaming with ACES and Emco, and expanding the scope of our sales office, allows us to deliver the best outcomes and experience.”
