Last month Daikin opened 2 new Experience Centers in Europe: a second Dutch location in Thialf, Heerenveen in the Netherlands and a first interactive and immersive AereXperience in Barcelona, Spain. The centres are sustainably built and multifunctional: consumers can experience Daikin's indoor climate innovations while installers can partake in informational sessions and receive practical training. The Experience Centers offer a place where everyone comes together. Consumers, installers but also, for example, installation partners on their own initiative with customers. The centres offer a place where installers and end users, business and private, enjoy a real experience that engages their senses: seeing, feeling and hearing the latest indoor climate innovations.
In Barcelona the AireXperience by Daikin opened in June: an interactive experience, designed so that visitors can learn about the future of air conditioning. In an immersive way, consumers discover different ways to cool their homes through interactive elements. They learn how connected and energy-efficient cooling systems can help save energy and money through an energy consumption simulator.
AireXperience by Daikin can also be enjoyed virtually, thanks to the recreation of this venue in the Metaverse. By breaking down the barriers of physical spaces Daikin wants to transfer the future of air conditioning to wherever people are.
The newest Experience Center in Heerenveen, the Netherlands allows people to experience the latest innovations first-hand in the field of air conditioning, heat pumps, air treatment and refrigeration technology.
Clear growth can also be observed in the commercial and industrial market segments. The centres inform these segments about the possibilities of Daikin refrigeration, climate and ventilation solutions.
Since 2018, Daikin has been the main sponsor of the Royal Dutch Skating Association (KNSB) and active in the skating world. In the Thialf skating stadium in Heerenveen, Daikin opens its second Experience Center supplementing its first, successful location in Breukelen to meet the enormous need for reliable, smart and sustainable indoor climate solutions.
