Danfoss has announced a strategic reorganization to improve its service and support for the heat exchanger market in Germany. By the second quarter of 2025, the company's assembly facility located in Winsen, Germany, will be transformed into a dedicated service and spare parts center. This transformation is part of Danfoss's broader initiative to deliver a higher standard of support to its customers in the region.
As part of this initiative, the current gasketed heat exchanger assembly line at the Winsen facility will be integrated with Danfoss's plant in Christiansfeld, Denmark. The Christiansfeld plant has been specifically upgraded to enhance its capacity and service offerings, thereby ensuring seamless support and quicker response times for German customers.
Further changes involve the relocation of the Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers warehouse to the Distribution Center in Rødekro, Denmark. This move is intended to streamline logistics and optimize distribution efficiency. Concurrently, the production of brazed plate heat exchangers will continue at the European facility in Kamnik, Slovenia, which remains a key part of Danfoss's production strategy.
These strategic developments underline Danfoss's commitment to optimizing operations and enhancing service excellence, ensuring that German customers receive the best possible support for their heat exchanger needs.
