Danfoss is set to unveil its new commercial heat pump test facility, a state-of-the-art test chamber designed to advance decarbonization efforts. The facility will enable close collaboration with customers in the development and testing of heat pump and chiller applications.

The new test facility is backed by Danfoss's experts, who bring unmatched application know-how to ensure precise and reliable testing. The aim is to push the boundaries of heat pump technology, enhancing performance and efficiency for a sustainable future.

Key features of the new heat pump/chiller test chamber include:

• Testing air-to-water heat pumps and air-cooled water chillers according to European standard EN14511:2022.
• Broad temperature ranges and high capacity for various refrigerants and power supplies.
• Capacity testing for energy-efficient solutions with accurate SEER/SEPR and SCOP calculations.
• Equipped to test units with R290, propane, and other A3 refrigerants up to 250kW.
