Eaton invests in Israel with two new sites in Ra’anana and Ashdod

Eaton, a global power management company, announced its long-term commitment to be present and serve the local market through the establishment of Eaton Israel. The company will operate through two sites – a sales, marketing and support center in Ra'anana and a logistics and distribution center in Ashdod. The new facilities, under the leadership of Itai Zifroni, Managing Director of Eaton Israel, will see a three-fold job increase in 2018, with recruitment already underway and continuing over the coming months.

Eaton’s products and services are already available to thousands of customers in Israel through a broad distribution network. With the decision to expand its activities in Israel, Eaton will now be able to provide local project specification and engineering, service and support directly to customers, partners and distributors. The products and services offered in Israel include power distribution, energy storage, industrial automation and data center solutions, as well as life safety products for fire detection, emergency notification and safe evacuation including adaptive emergency lighting systems. The company aims to double its sales in Israel over the next three years.

Cyrille Brisson, vice president, Eaton EMEA commented: "The decision to invest in expanding our presence in Israel was made after five years of thriving activity in the local market. During this period, and with the support of our valued, long-standing partners, we have built an extensive and stable customer base and established our global reputation in the area of energy management. We have reached a point where in order to continue growing and increasing our market share in Israel, we need to expand the variety of products and services available to the local market. At the same time, we are expanding our team of experts who will provide professional response directly to customers. As an early adopter of advanced technologies, Israel is the right place for us to make a strategic investment and we are excited about this business development."

Itai Zifroni, Managing Director of Eaton Israel said: “The Israeli market is large and significant enough for a global company like Eaton to be able to establish direct operations. Our customers and partners from across the industry would like to see the innovation we integrate into all our products, and the increased demand justifies the setup of a local operation facility that is capable of meeting the market's requirements.” Zifroni added. "We strive to grow in Israel, both in market share and in the level of our investments here. Our goal is to help local businesses and households reduce their energy consumption and operating costs safely and reliably, to improve the quality of life and the environment.”
