SYCLEF and Quinn Downes formalise Ireland HVAC partnership

Quinn Downes and SYCLEF have formalised their strategic partnership after approval by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, Ireland’s competition authority. The decision enables the effective integration of the Irish HVAC installations group into the SYCLEF network.

The partnership was announced in March 2026 and was subject to regulatory approval by the CCPC. With authorisation granted, Quinn Downes and SYCLEF can begin a fully operational collaboration.

Quinn Downes will preserve its identity, operational autonomy and corporate culture while receiving support from the SYCLEF network for future growth in the Irish market.

Quinn Downes has more than 140 employees and specialises in HVAC systems installation, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The group also has expertise in critical infrastructure, particularly data centres, and operates through Quinn Downes Installation and Quinn Downes Service & Maintenance.

SYCLEF said the step supports its European growth strategy. Its network now includes 70 operating companies, more than 136 locations and 3,550 employees across Europe, Africa and the Indian Ocean.
