FläktGroup Divests European Ducts, Fittings, and Silencers Portfolio to Veloduct AB

FläktGroup has agreed to sell its European ducts, fittings, and silencers portfolio to Veloduct AB, backed by a Norwegian investment entity. This divestment aligns with FläktGroup's strategy to refine its product focus.

The asset transfer involves production and logistics at the Järna, Sweden site, plus equipment and inventories in Järna, Turku, and Warsaw. Teams in Järna and Turku will join the buyer. Veloduct, Ecoduct, and Ekoduct trademarks are also included. However, FläktGroup retains its dampers, VAV dampers, and diffusers.

Veloduct plans to maintain operations and enhance the product line, eyeing transaction completion by end 2024. FläktGroup will exit Järna by January 2025 and close the Warsaw plant by Q1/2025, affecting production roles but not impacting Polish sales and services.

In another strategic move, FläktGroup will cease residential air handling units, with final deliveries in December 2024, focusing on impactful innovations for customers and the environment.
