AFPAC renewed one-third of its board of directors at its annual general meeting on 2 April, with six of the 18 board seats up for renewal. Following the vote, the board also elected the association’s president and executive bureau for 2026. AFPAC said the renewed governance will support faster heat pump deployment in response to the electrification of uses, building decarbonisation, and France’s energy and industrial sovereignty requirements.
After the vote, the board of directors comprises representatives of ALDES AERAULIQUE, AFCE, AICVF, ARISTON FRANCE, ATLANTIC, BDR THERMA, CAPEB, CARRIER-VIESSMANN, COEDIS, DAIKIN, EDF, GROUPE INTUIS, MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC, SNEFCCA, STIEBEL ELTRON, SYNASAV, UMGCCP and UNICLIMA.
The board then elected François Deroche of DAIKIN as president. The vice-presidents are Cyril Radici of SYNASAV, Pascal Housset of UMGCCP, Fanny Munsch of COEDIS, Christel Mollé of MITSUBISHI Electric and Christophe Thebault of ATLANTIC. Valérie Laplagne of UNICLIMA was elected treasurer, Éric Baudry of INTUIS deputy treasurer, Arnaud Kautzmann of EDF secretary and Brice Kosinski of ARISTON FRANCE deputy secretary.
AFPAC said the new executive bureau will oversee the association’s strategic projects, with priority given to the operational launch of CEPAC, the Centre d’Expertise PAC. Under the leadership of François Deroche, the association said it aims to strengthen cooperation across the sector to scale up the adoption of heat pump solutions in all types of buildings.
“By working together with our partners and public authorities, by sharing our knowledge and implementing coordinated strategies, we will make renewable heat from heat pumps the central accelerator of the transition to sustainable solutions across all building segments — from individual and multi-family housing to the tertiary sector,” said François Deroche.
