Panasonic establishes HVAC & CC company

Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. was established on April 1, 2026, as Panasonic Group moved to a new group structure. Eiichi Katayama was appointed Representative Director, Member of the Board, President. The company was formed by reorganizing and consolidating Panasonic Corporation’s Heating & Ventilation A/C Company and Cold Chain Solutions Company under the Sustainable & Climate Tech Group.

The new company will operate as one business group alongside Panasonic HVAC & CC Systems Co., Ltd., Panasonic Environmental Systems & Engineering Co., Ltd., and Hussmann Corporation in the US. On a consolidated basis, the group has around 30,000 employees globally.

Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. covers businesses related to air, water, and food. Its scope includes residential and commercial air conditioners, ventilation fans, air purifiers, CO2 heat pump water heaters, air-to-water heat pumps (A2W), merchandising display cases, and commercial kitchen equipment.

According to the company profile, its consolidated business areas include development, manufacture, sales, installation, and servicing of residential air conditioners, air-related products, water solution products such as CO2 heat pump water heaters, and commercial equipment such as heating and cooling devices, commercial air conditioners, and food system equipment. Consolidated sales are forecast at 1,300 billion yen [about USD 8.7 billion] for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026.

With the launch, the company also introduced the brand slogan “HVAC & Cold Chain―Built into Life.” Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. said it aims to understand customers’ challenges and propose solutions from the perspectives of economy, environment, and safety.
