Tecumseh and Invotech Form Global HVAC&R Partnership

Tecumseh and Invotech have signed a Strategic Global Partnership Agreement to accelerate innovation, strengthen supply chain agility and deliver long-term value to HVAC&R customers worldwide.

The agreement begins a long-term collaboration between Tecumseh, a provider of compressor and cooling solutions, and Invotech, a Shenzhen Stock Exchange-listed manufacturer of high-efficiency scroll compressors.

The companies said the partnership combines Invotech’s scroll compressor technology with Tecumseh’s application expertise and global commercial presence. It will focus on innovation, wider access to high-efficiency technologies, global supply capabilities and support for sustainable HVAC&R solutions across multiple markets.

The partnership was formalized in the presence of Jay Pittas, Chairman of Tecumseh; Ricardo Maciel, CEO of Tecumseh; and Jo Chen, Chairman and CEO of Invotech. The companies cited market trends toward natural and lower-GWP refrigerants, higher energy-efficiency standards and more resilient supply chains.

“Tecumseh has always combined a strong legacy of innovation with a clear vision for the future. Our partnership with Invotech brings together complementary strengths that will enhance our ability to deliver agile, efficient, and sustainable solutions to customers around the world. This collaboration represents an important step in strengthening our global position and shaping the future of the HVAC&R industry,” said Ricardo Maciel, CEO of Tecumseh.
