FREOR’s First Waterloop Installation in Northern Ireland

Recently opened ECO store in the center of Castlewellan city has chosen Green Wave R290 refrigeration equipment – propane freezers and refrigerators connected to the Hydroloop Glycol system.

About the project
The project  carried out by local partner DS Refrigeration, which fulfilled the store’s refrigeration needs for compact, elegant, yet large capacity display showcases for the meat, dairy, bakery, and frozen food sectors.  FREOR’s energy-efficient Green Wave product line operating on natural refrigerant R290 seemed like a perfect fit for such a demand. To reach even higher results in reducing energy consumption, every refrigerator has a hot gas defrost system, which optimizes and accelerates the defrosting process.

Equipment installed:

Upright glass door freezer ERIDA.
Chilled display cabinet PLUTON SPACE.
Multideck display fridges JUPITER Glass Doors.
Stand-alone refrigerated bakery case ELISA QB.
Into the Green Technologies

Innovative waterloop solutions are gaining ground in different parts of the world. There are an estimated 2000 stores globally using R290 waterloop Technology. The R290 waterloop technology is a nature-friendly and cost-effective solution. The installation work does not require much effort, and the leakage of refrigerant is close to zero.
