Frick India and Mayekawa Form Joint Venture for Energy-Efficient Refrigeration

Frick India Ltd., a leading name in industrial refrigeration, has partnered with Japan's Mayekawa to launch a joint venture aimed at delivering energy-efficient compressor packages in India. This collaboration will benefit sectors such as food, cold chain, process gas, biogas, and heat pumps, with an emphasis on sustainable solutions.

The joint venture's ceremony took place on January 13, 2025, at ITC Maurya, New Delhi. Mr. Takashi Ariyoshi from the Japan Embassy highlighted the strong India-Japan ties and conveyed best wishes for the partnership, reflecting on both nations' growth aspirations.

Mayekawa's President, Mr. Shin Maekawa, emphasized the significant growth potential in India, owing to its rising demand for refrigeration solutions. Frick India's Chairman, Mr. Jasmohan Singh, expressed confidence in integrating Mayekawa's advanced technology to deliver efficient and power-saving compressors in India.

The venture also plans to establish a manufacturing plant in Rajasthan, further expanding their business operations in the country.
