Haier HVAC Solutions has appointed Melvyn Balmain as Sales Manager for French-speaking territories, effective November 3, 2025. In his new role, Balmain will lead business development initiatives, focusing on expanding the company’s presence and strengthening partnerships across the region.
Balmain holds a degree in sales and management and brings over 20 years of HVAC experience. He began his career at French distributor Clim+, where he advanced to Sales Manager during a ten-year tenure. He then moved into manufacturing, working with companies such as LG Air Conditioning, Panasonic, and Aldes. His roles included launching new brands, expanding teams, and driving revenue growth.
According to the company, Balmain will support Haier’s strategy of engaging closely with installers and specifiers, increasing brand visibility, and developing sales channels. His role will cover Haier’s full portfolio of RAC, LCAC, Applied Solutions, and Heating products.
