Heat Pump KEYMARK Certifies 10,000th Model, Setting Quality Standard

Heat Pump KEYMARK Certifies 10,000th Model, Setting Quality Standard

The Heat Pump KEYMARK program has certified its 10,000th heat pump model, underscoring its critical role in promoting trust, quality, and efficiency within Europe’s heating and cooling sector.

Established nearly a decade ago, the Heat Pump KEYMARK serves as a reliable quality mark, harmonizing the European market and encouraging decarbonization through consumer confidence and innovation.

The milestone reflects collaboration among over 180 renowned European brands, as noted by Johannes Brugmann, Chair of the Heat Pump KEYMARK Scheme Group: “Achieving 10,000 certified models proves the scheme’s value in building trust and sustainable innovation.”

The certification aligns with European regulations and standards, including Ecodesign requirements, granting products a competitive edge and facilitating access to subsidies. This supports the EU’s climate goals and the transition to sustainable energy.

The Secretariat celebrates this milestone, noting it sets a positive tone for future achievements in the sector.
