Heatcraft Refrigeration Products Wins Prestigious PR Daily Social Media & Digital Award

Heatcraft Refrigeration Products has been named a winner in PR Daily’s Social Media & Digital Awards in the Mobile App category for the Refrigeration Toolkit. Additionally, Heatcraft was named an honorable mention in the Best Website category for its new website.

PR Daily’s Social Media & Digital Awards celebrates the teams, organizations and agencies who create captivating digital work and have redefined the field with their groundbreaking work.

The Refrigeration Toolkit by Heatcraft Refrigeration Products was chosen from a wide pool of entries to receive recognition in Mobile App category for its creative digital communications work.

“The Refrigeration Toolkit set itself apart from an outstanding field of entrants. Heatcraft’s work was exceptional and displayed their innovative strategies for achieving success. Congratulations, Heatcraft. We look forward to your continued success,” said Brendan Gannon, senior marketing manager for Awards Programs at Ragan Communications.

The Refrigeration Toolkit started life as a cross-reference tool when Heatcraft’s coolers and freezers saw a large-scale shift in model numbers. But the marketing team realized it could be more. The app relaunched in 2021 as the Refrigeration Toolkit and has been heating up the app chart ever since.

“We realized our mobile app could serve customers on an even deeper level by providing a comprehensive Refrigeration Toolkit to help with all stages of their journey,” said Tim Fletcher, digital marketing manager for Heatcraft Refrigeration Products. “New features, such as an energy calculator, a build-a-model tool and a new model search, were developed through a collaboration by the marketing, IT and engineering departments.”
