HOSHIZAKI Corporation’s U.S. subsidiary HOSHIZAKI AMERICA, INC.(hereinafter Hoshizaki America) awarded EPA’s ENERGY STAR “Partner of the Year - Product Brand Owner” for 9th consecutive year thanks to their eco-friendly and energy saving product line-up. New refrigeration line “Steelheart” series uses hydrocarbon refrigerant (R290) which will reduce approximately 25,000 metric tons(-21%*) of greenhouse gas emissions and redesign of the KMEdge X ice machine line, pursuit of energy-saving also contributed as customer energy cost savings of approximately $1.7 million(-8.5%*). By continued leadership and superior contributions to ENERGY STAR, Hoshizaki America also received the 2020 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Award 6th consecutive year, which is given only to those partners who have received Partner of the Year recognition for a minimum of two consecutive years.
