Aços Macom Indústria e Comércio Ltda (hereafter Macom) fully activates export of the food service equipment made in its factory to Latin American countries such as Argentina and Colombia from 2021. 

Overview of Macom
Macom founded in 1972, is the Brazilian leader in equipment and systems for Food Service. Macom joined Hoshizaki group in 2013. With wider range of its products, from cooling to hot side equipment and furniture for professional kitchen, Macom products have been adopted and extoled by luxury hotels and international chain restaurants. In 2019, Macom commenced in-house production of Hoshizaki brand ice maker which was originally imported from Hoshizaki group companies. In addition, Macom built a new factory with 18,000m2 of total floor on Aug 1st, 2019 and amplified its production capacity in order to respond to increasing demand in timely manner. 

Export to Latin America
Global leading restaurant chains which are Macom’s major customer already have many stores in large city of Latin American countries. Macom fully activates export business to the countries with large city such as Argentina, Columbia, Chile and Peru, and aims to grow it as Macom’s core business.
