Hudson Technologies Partners with LG to Provide Sustainable Refrigerants

Hudson Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of sustainable refrigerant products and services, has announced a collaboration with LG Air Conditioning Technologies, USA, to supply EMERALD Refrigerants to LG’s customers. This partnership emphasizes both companies' commitment to sustainable refrigerant management and the industry's shift towards reclaimed refrigerants.

LG Air Conditioning Technologies USA, a major player in the air conditioning market, aims to reduce energy consumption and enhance comfort with eco-friendly products. Through this agreement, LG will utilize Hudson’s expertise to provide lower GWP reclaimed refrigerants to its customers.

Kate Houghton, Hudson’s Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, said, “This collaboration with LG aligns with our goal to promote sustainable refrigerant management practices. EMERALD Refrigerants™ offer a lower environmental impact and match the performance of virgin refrigerants, providing a seamless alternative for LG’s customers.”

Darren Gibula, LG’s Vice President of Operations, added, “Working with Hudson allows us to support our customers in meeting new regulations and delivering eco-conscious solutions, reinforcing LG’s commitment to future cleaner energy.”
