Hultsteins Expands Carbon-Cutting Team and Announces 'All-Electric' Demo Day

Hultsteins, the Swedish and UK-based sustainable refrigeration equipment manufacturer, has reinforced its management team in Scotland and the north of England with the appointment of Matt Hepburn-Taylor. With over 11 years of experience in the refrigeration industry, Hepburn-Taylor aims to introduce Hultsteins' cost-effective and carbon-cutting systems to temperature-controlled operators in these regions.

“It’s exciting to be joining the Hultsteins family and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead,” says Matt. “Our industry is fast evolving, with sustainability and carbon footprint becoming key priorities within many temperature-controlled operations. Hultsteins’ Ecogen and Ecofridge ‘green energy’ products provide operators with the perfect environmental solution by enhancing performance, keeping costs down, and virtually eliminating all harmful emissions.”

Hultsteins has partnered with green energy innovators Addvolt and Courage Technologies to offer optimum 'all-electric' refrigeration solutions. “Hultsteins Ecofridge and Ecogen systems are already widely adopted,” adds Matt. “Now, through collaboration with like-minded manufacturers, we can offer diesel-free refrigerated transport for urban, multi-drop, and longer distance deliveries, in single, dual or multi-temp configurations.”

Demo Day to Showcase UK's First Dual Temperature Fully Electric Fridge

Hultsteins and Addvolt will host a demonstration day on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Hultsteins’ premises in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. The event will feature innovative solutions from both companies. One highlight will be the combination of an Addvolt powerpack with a Hultsteins’ Ecogen2 hydraulic generator, showcasing fully electric-powered refrigeration for all types of delivery.
