ISKID becomes co-organiser of the 2020 Eurovent Summit
Representatives of ISKID (Turkey’s Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association) and Eurovent signed an agreement to jointly organise the 2020 EUROVENT. They announced that the next edition of Europe’s major gathering for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies will take place in Antalya, Turkey, from 22 to 25 September 2020.

With the main theme being ‘Building Bridges’, the focus of the 2020 EUROVENTSUMMIT will be connecting manufacturers and consultants, planners, installers, trade associations and policy makers, between Europe, the East and beyond, towards more sustainable and circular products, and towards more socially and environmentally responsible industry. The organisers also place great value on innovation, providing space for manufacturers to display their latest cutting-edge products throughout the conference area.

Mr Ozan Atasoy, President of ISKID, stated: “It will be a pleasure for us to welcome the industry in Antalya to build and strengthen bridges between the European, Turkish, and Eastern manufacturers and decision makers. We will come together not only to share information, knowledge, and experience, but also to have the opportunity to learn about new technologies, trends, and upcoming challenges.

Mr Naci Sahin, President of the Eurovent Association, added: “It is an honour for me and the entire Turkish HVACR industry to be able to open our doors to the next Summit. Given the current international trade developments, a strong cooperation between Europe and the East is more than relevant in ensuring a global level playing field for developing our industry, promoting state-of-the-art technologies, and removing trade barriers.

Previous editions of the biennial EUROVENTSUMMIT (Berlin 2014, Krakow 2016, and Seville 2018) all proved highly successful, and attendance is increasing. The event has become Europe’s most high-profile gathering of HVACR industry representatives, attracting not only manufacturers but also consultants, installers, and policy makers. During the last edition in Seville, over 530 participants came together over the course of four days of meetings, seminars, and events. The 2020 EUROVENTSUMMIT promises to be even more successful and should not be missed by anyone looking to make new connections within the industry, or to stay up to date on the latest regulatory, standardisation, certification, and technological developments.
