Italy's LU-VE reports higher 2025 sales and record EBITDA

LU-VE said its 2025 product sales rose 3% to EUR 598.6 million [about USD 646.5 million], while total revenues and operating income increased 2.8% to EUR 605.4 million [about USD 653.8 million]. EBITDA reached a record EUR 87.2 million [about USD 94.2 million], up 5.7% from 2024, and net profit for the year rose to EUR 39.8 million [about USD 43.0 million].

The Italy-based company said the recovery was driven by a stronger second half and a particularly positive fourth quarter, while the order backlog at year-end remained close to its all-time high at EUR 233.7 million [about USD 252.4 million], up more than 34% from the end of 2024. The Components business unit led growth with revenue of EUR 302.0 million [about USD 326.2 million], up 5.9%, while Cooling Systems revenue was EUR 296.7 million [about USD 320.4 million], up 0.2%.

By product category, heat exchanger sales increased 7.5% to EUR 290.0 million [about USD 313.2 million] and accounted for 47.9% of consolidated revenues. Air cooled equipment sales were broadly stable at EUR 296.7 million [about USD 320.4 million], representing 49.0% of revenues, while glass door sales fell 21.5% to EUR 11.9 million [about USD 12.9 million]. In application terms, refrigeration remained the largest segment at 49.0% of turnover, followed by air conditioning at 23.8%, special applications at 14.6% and industrial cooling at 11.5%.

LU-VE also said 2025 was the final year of its 2023-2025 Sustainability Plan and that it approved a new 2026-2029 plan in February 2026. The group reported a 36% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions against the 2022 baseline, calculated using the market-based methodology, and said products designed for natural refrigerants and/or high-efficiency motors represented 58% of turnover in 2025.

In operations, the group said production of high-power outdoor machines started in China in the first months of the year, with first orders and pilot projects in new applications, while work on the expansion of the Jacksonville production site in Texas was largely completed and production was expected to begin gradually in the first quarter of 2026.
