J & E Hall restructures UK and Ireland commercial refrigeration leadership

J & E Hall has announced a major restructure of its commercial refrigeration sales leadership to strengthen regional growth and customer focus across the UK and Ireland.

Senior Manager Tony Twine, who has driven substantial UK sales growth in condensing units and cellar cooling systems, is stepping back from his UK-wide role to focus on expanding the company’s presence in Ireland. He will work closely with distribution partner FSW Ireland to develop sales and market opportunities in the region.

Paul McDermott, formerly National Sales Manager, has been appointed Senior Manager – Commercial Product Sales. With over 22 years at J & E Hall, he was instrumental in launching the company’s commercial refrigeration range in the UK and expanding its national distributor network.

The changes follow the retirement of Northern Sales Manager Paul O’Brien, who worked closely with refrigeration contractors and installers across northern England during his career at the company. His role will be taken over by Carl Burton, who has a background in refrigeration and HVAC and will focus on regional sales growth and strengthening partnerships.

In the South, Kyle Bray has rejoined J & E Hall as Account Manager, with responsibility for key accounts, new business development, and relationships with contractors, consultants, and distribution partners.

“Although sorry to see Tony inevitably stepping away, I’m genuinely excited about the team we now have in place,” said Paul McDermott. “We’ve brought together a group of highly capable and customer-focused professionals who understand the evolving needs of the market. Together, we’re in a strong position to deliver not just reliable, energy-efficient products—but a complete service offering that includes expert support, training, and long-term partnership.”

The company stated that the new structure reflects a long-term commitment to growth and customer service across the UK and Ireland refrigeration markets.
