Kaori Heat Treatment Co. Ltd. announced the formation of Kaori Thermal Technology Co., Ltd., a new subsidiary focusing on AI data center cooling solutions. This move aims to increase operational flexibility and strengthen group collaboration in the growing AI cooling industry.
Kaori Thermal will specialize in liquid cooling systems for data centers and offer OEM/ODM services, while the parent company will maintain its focus on brazed plate heat exchangers and hydrogen energy expansion. This split, approved by shareholders on November 12, ensures that Kaori retains all outstanding shares, leaving shareholder interests unaffected.
The Thermal Division, active in server liquid cooling since 2015, has positioned Kaori as a leading partner in AI server technology. With AI-driven demand for data center solutions increasing, Kaori Thermal will leverage its experience to enhance competitiveness and service delivery in the ICT sector.
Kaori remains a global leader in brazed plate heat exchangers, crucial for Kaori Thermal’s systems, promoting collaboration and efficiency. The company is optimistic that this restructuring will accelerate business growth and attract talent, ensuring value creation for shareholders.
