Kranenberg and Vit to chair Eurovent Product Group ‘Air Conditioners’ for another term
During the online meeting of the Eurovent Product Group ‘Air Conditioners’ (PG-AC), the participants re-elected Henk Kranenberg as Chairperson and Stefano Vit as Vice-Chairperson of the group for another term.

Henk Kranenberg (Senior Manager, Daikin Europe) is an expert in heating ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and building environment. He will be taking up his second term as the Chairperson of the group. He will be supported by Stefano Vit (HVAC Laboratory Manager, De’Longhi), who has more than two decades of experience in the HVAC industry. They will both chair the Product Group for the next two years.

Stefano Vit, PG-AC Vice-Chairperson, stated: “Europe will need to transform to achieve the EU’s goals for net-zero emissions. This is challenging but will unlock societal benefits and business opportunities. Despite these challenges, the EU’s built environment needs to make a broad range of changes to meet decarbonisation targets. In this regard, the setup of suitable regulations for air conditioning and heat pumps has a remarkable relevance. I am pleased to provide my contribution to the PG-AC which plays a key role in this context. It is an honour to continue the work with Mr Kranenberg and the PG-AC members.”

The Eurovent Product Group ‘Air Conditioners’ covers air conditioners and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) units. It is engaged with European and national legislation regarding the European air conditioning industry. It is also concerned with the development of EN, ISO and Eurovent standards and deals with the general promotion of the industry.
