LG Brazil promotes integrated HVAC retrofit solutions for commercial buildings

LG Electronics do Brasil is positioning itself as a strategic partner for the modernization of commercial buildings through its advanced HVAC portfolio aimed at retrofit projects. The company’s approach goes beyond replacing equipment, offering a technology ecosystem that transforms offices into smarter, energy-efficient, and healthier environments.

LG’s retrofit strategy emphasizes the reuse of existing infrastructure—such as piping and power lines—which reduces the need for invasive construction, cuts costs, and speeds up installation. Technologies such as the DUAL Inverter Compressor, which can reduce energy consumption by up to 70%, and Multi V VRF systems, which allow for individual temperature control by zone, are central to its offering.

Automation is another key component. Platforms like AC Smart 5 enable centralized management and integration with building management systems (BMS), while the cloud-based LG BECON Cloud uses artificial intelligence to monitor operations 24/7, predict failures, and optimize energy use proactively.

“HVAC retrofit is a strategic decision that directly impacts a business’s operational efficiency and sustainability. With our ecosystem of solutions, from advanced hardware to intelligent cloud management, LG positions itself as a partner delivering not just climate control, but healthier, more productive environments aligned with new corporate market demands,” said Graziela Yang, Product Manager for Commercial Air Conditioning at LG Electronics Brazil.
