MIRAI INTEX Partners with Brno University of Technology for Enhanced Student Experience
MIRAI INTEX s.r.o. has announced a new collaboration with the Brno University of Technology (BUT) to offer students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering practical experience in industrial refrigeration. This partnership aims to deepen students' knowledge and create exciting job opportunities in Brno.

"This initiative builds on our previous experiences and establishes a longer-term concept," said Vladyslav Tsyplakov, Business Development Director of MIRAI INTEX. "We had already engaged with Jiří Hejčík, PhD, and his colleagues from BUT but had to pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s now time to renew and expand our cooperation."

MIRAI INTEX, originally founded in Switzerland, moved all its development and production to Brno in 2017. The company specializes in air-based industrial cooling systems, primarily serving the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries. MIRAI’s technology uses environmentally friendly air as a refrigerant, bypassing European Union restrictions on fluorinated gases with high global warming potential.

One of the first steps in this cooperation involves MIRAI INTEX experts participating in teaching at BUT. "MIRAI INTEX experts will prepare a lecture on ultra-low temperature air-based cooling technology, providing students insight into the latest tech trends and practical applications," said Hejčík.

To complement theoretical knowledge, BUT emphasizes practical experience. Therefore, students will be offered excursions to production plants. "Students visiting MIRAI INTEX will get a tour of our facility and state-of-the-art cold room, enhancing their understanding of the technologies," Tsyplakov added.

MIRAI INTEX also plans to support students' diploma theses by offering expert guidance and consultation. Future plans include internships to provide students with valuable work experience, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios and collaborate with industry experts.

Both partners are optimistic about the benefits this collaboration will bring to BUT students and MIRAI INTEX, aiming to contribute to the advancement of technical knowledge and skills in refrigeration technology.
