Mojave Unveils ArctiDry HP for Year-Round Efficiency at AHR Expo 2025

Mojave Energy Systems introduced the ArctiDry HP at AHR Expo 2025, showcasing an advanced liquid desiccant HVAC system now integrated with a reversible heat pump. This new addition enables both energy-efficient cooling and heating, making it a year-round solution for commercial buildings.

“By incorporating a reversible heat pump, our innovative system is now a year-round electrification and decarbonization solution,” said Phil Farese, CEO of Mojave Energy Systems. “With ArctiDry HP, building owners can slash their cooling energy use by 50% with liquid desiccant and eliminate fossil fuel emissions in winter with a built-in heat pump.”

Designed for Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) and dehumidification applications, ArctiDry HP is suited for healthcare, education, grocery, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors. Key features include:
  • ISMRE2 efficiency rating of up to 11 lbs/kWh, reducing electricity consumption by up to 50% in cooling mode.
  • Heating operation in temperatures as low as 10°F, with supplemental heating options for colder climates.
  • Integrated Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (ISCOP) greater than 3.0, per AHRI 920 test standards.
  • Dual-purpose compressor that provides both cooling in summer and efficient heating in winter.
  • All-in-one functionality for heating, cooling, and dehumidification in a compact, easy-to-install unit.

Mojave will be showcasing the ArctiDry HP at AHR Expo in Orlando, Florida, from February 10-12, 2025, at booth #7979, where attendees can see a product demonstration.
