Nordic Climate Group (NCG) has acquired Coolserve, a Dutch company specializing in climate control installations and services. The move expands NCG’s presence in the northern and eastern regions of the Netherlands and aligns with its strategy of integrating local companies focused on energy efficiency and sustainable climate solutions.
Founded in 2004, Coolserve operates from Haaksbergen and Heerenveen and primarily serves as a subcontractor to larger installation firms. Its customer base includes office environments, industrial sites, commercial properties, and semi-public sectors. The company employs around 35 people and has recorded approximately 20% annual growth since 2021, with current annual revenues of about EUR 7.5 million (approx. USD 8.1 million).
Coolserve’s current owners, Richard Wielinga and Remco Kruizenga, will continue to lead the company following the acquisition.
“Coolserve is a highly strategic and cultural addition to Nordic Climate Group. They have a strong local presence, deep technical expertise, and an entrepreneurial approach that aligns well with our vision,” said Erik Snijders, CEO Netherlands, Nordic Climate Group.
Remco Kruizenga commented: “What appealed to us about Nordic Climate Group is their practical mindset and long-term focus—both match how we work at Coolserve.”
Richard Wielinga added: “With the support of a strong international platform, we can continue our growth while preserving our local focus and close customer relationships.”
