Nordic Climate Group acquires UK refrigeration specialist Iceline Yorkshire

Nordic Climate Group has acquired Iceline Yorkshire Ltd, a UK refrigeration specialist focused on commercial cold stores and refrigeration environments. The deal adds to Nordic Climate Group’s refrigeration capabilities in Northern England, while Iceline will continue to operate under its own name and management.

Iceline combines installation and modification of refrigeration systems with the dismantling and reuse of equipment and materials. According to the source, this supports a more circular approach to refrigeration infrastructure. The company serves customers in food retail, logistics and food production.

Founded by Paul Liddle, the business is led today by Craig Liddle and Rachael Liddle together with their team, while Paul Liddle continues to play an active role in the company. Iceline has around 25 employees and works across the full lifecycle of cold storage environments, including installation, modification, removal and material handling, with projects across the UK.

With the acquisition, Craig Liddle, Managing Director of Iceline, will continue to lead the business together with the existing team. Nordic Climate Group said the addition of Iceline brings the Group’s annual revenues in the UK and Ireland to more than EUR 80 million.

“Iceline is a strong example of the kind of entrepreneurial refrigeration company we are proud to partner with. They bring deep practical expertise in cold store environments and have built a business that combines technical skill with a sharp commercial mindset,” says Ronnie Coutts, CEO of Nordic Climate Group UK.
