Nordic Climate Group Expands in the Netherlands with New Acquisition

Nordic Climate Group has announced its latest acquisition in the Netherlands, marking a significant step in its international expansion strategy. The acquisition includes a group of six Dutch cooling specialists: Cooling Systems Holland (CSH), Cooling Service Holland, Installatiebedrijf Bakker BV, MIB Installatietechniek, TCB, and 3BG Cooling. This follows previous acquisitions of Compair Airconditioning B.V. and T&S Klimaattechniek B.V., expanding the group's footprint in the region since its initial entry in June 2024.

Strengthening its position as a leader in energy-efficient and sustainable cooling solutions in northern Europe, Nordic Climate Group now comprises over 1,700 employees across 100 locations in Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. The newly acquired Dutch units contribute approximately 170 employees and a turnover of EUR 45 million.

Operating in Oosterwolde and Assen, these companies bring more than 120 years of industry experience. They focus on the B2B market, the public sector, and data centers, while also serving the fruit and food sectors both within and beyond the Netherlands. Their portfolio includes innovative and tailored solutions in design, production, installation, and service of energy-efficient cooling and freezing systems.

Joseph Kuling, chair of Nordic Climate Group Netherlands B.V., commented on the acquisition: "These companies will feel right at home within Nordic Climate Group. Their extensive competence and impressive growth journey align perfectly with our expansion goals in the Netherlands. We welcome more leading companies and entrepreneurs to join us."

The acquisition from previous owners Edwin Walstra, Hans Fijlstra, and Sicco Rust sees them continuing in their current roles. Nordic Climate Group’s decentralized business model allows these companies to retain their local brands and maintain their quality-focused operations.

Edwin Walstra and Hans Fijlstra expressed their enthusiasm about joining the larger network: "We are excited to be part of a group that is successful in the Nordics and northern Europe. This enhances our appeal as partners to our customers and as employers for skilled professionals. The international network offers unique strengths from which we can greatly benefit."

Nordic Climate Group is committed to helping customers minimize their climate footprint while maximizing energy efficiency. The company continues to build a leading position in Northern Europe through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, leveraging entrepreneurial spirit and decentralized operations supported by effective training and technological know-how.
