This strategic move aims to strengthen Panasonic's condensing unit business in the European market and boost its global expansion efforts.

Area Cooling is an innovative company that heavily invests in growth areas such as inverter-controlled and CO2 condensing units. Its products are technologically aligned with Panasonic's units, as they have long used Panasonic-designed compressors. This compatibility influenced Panasonic's decision, believing this acquisition would fortify its European business foundation. The acquisition does not include Area Cooling's distribution business of compressors and other HVACR components.
