Refrigeration equipment FREOR for the JOKER store

It seems that Oslo is aimed to develop a network of green stores. FREOR is happy to have contributed to another nature-friendly project by providing its refrigeration equipment for the refurbished JOKER store. It is our second project for this Norwegian retail chain, implemented by our regional partner NordDisk.

Small store – high demands

JOKER store chain owns small convenience stores. Therefor it expressed the demand for optimal sales area exploitation and flexible layout, in addition to the climate-friendly technology, for the refurbishment. Creating best-in-class low GWP technologies is what FREOR is good at, and we are glad the store chose Hydroloop Glycol refrigeration system in tandem with plug-in refrigerated display equipment operating on propane. This flexible, space-saving, and cost-efficient solution helps reduce the climate impact of cooling as well. It uses R290 refrigerant proclaimed to be one of the best choices of low GWP refrigerants.

It is essential to mention that the solution is safe for customers, as it uses only 150 g of R290 refrigerant per cooling circle.

For better usage of the store space, it was equipped with FREOR’s newly designed freezer cabinet ERIDA SLIM, which features a compact design, but large capacity. And to ensure high energy-efficiency, JUPITER multideck lines with super-clear glass doors were installed.
