Regal’s NovaMAX Motor Wins Product of the Year Program

Regal Beloit Corporation, a leading manufacturer of electric motors, electrical motion controls, power generation and power transmission components, announced that the NovaMAX EC Permanent Magnet Motor has been recognized by Consulting-Specifying Engineer in its 2018 Product of the Year program within the drives, pumps and motors category.



The NovaMAX EC Permanent Magnet Motor’s innovative conical rotor/stator geometry produces a new class of electric motors that provide reliable performance without increasing costs. Improved energy efficiency, greater power density and cooler operation, combined with conformance with NEMA standard dimensions, allow end users, owners, contractors, OEMs and others to see rapid payback.

Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s Product of the Year contest rewards premier new products in the fields of HVAC, fire/life safety, electrical and plumbing systems engineering. The annual readers-choice program was created to provide readers with information about top products in their respective fields.

The NovaMAX EC permanent magnet motor was also recognized as a finalist in the AHR Expo’s Innovation Awards for 2018.
